JPSO seeking suspects in Harvey shooting | NOLA.com

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking information about the suspects in a Thursday afternoon shooting in Harvey. The victim, an 18-year-old boy, was shot in the arm and leg, according to Glen T. Boyd, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office.

The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening. The shooting occurred just before 4 p.m. at 2491 Paige Janette Drive, Harvey.

No suspects have been identified. But?the shooter?may have been riding in a black, four-door sedan of unknown make and model, Boyd said. Detectives are also looking for information about a possible person of interest who was riding a bicycle through the area at the time of the shooting.

Callers or texters do not have to give their names or testify and can earn a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an indictment.
